Why Silver Xpress?

Silver Xpress supports both its own OPX format, which allows for extended features and functionality when used in conjunction with the Silver Xpress Mail Door, and it also supports QWK, so regardless of the Mail Door in use, you have one OLMR that allows you to read and reply to mail on any BBS.

Silver Xpress is the most feature rich off-line mail reader in existence, includes built-in PKZip support so you don't have to concern yourself with the use of an old version of ZIP being used on a given board, and provides hooks to run a wide variety of external programs, such as spellcheckers, editors, tagline managers, etc.

It's been developed and time-tested for going on 9 years, as the first OLMR for Fido-based BBSs. Available in both Real and Protected mode versions, and registration of the program applies to either or both.

Silver Xpress is easy to use, totally configurable, includes a built-in help system, and allows you to grow with it.

There is support for Silver Xpress via more avenues than any other OLMR. Its own support conference on FidoNet, XPRESS_SUPPORT, is the primary channel to ask questions, learn tips/tricks, submit suggestions, etc. However, support is also available in other conferences on FidoNet, in our forum on CompuServe, via the Internet, and our European Registration and Support headquarters in the UK.
